About This Route
Circling the northern tip of Cape Breton Island, the Cabot Trail is a 298-kilometer loop through some of Canada's most dramatic coastal scenery. The route climbs through the Cape Breton Highlands with views of the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Atlantic Ocean, passing through Acadian and Gaelic communities rich in Celtic heritage.
