About This Route
The BR-230, or Trans-Amazonian Highway, is a 4,260-kilometer route through the Brazilian Amazon. While much remains unpaved and impassable during wet season, accessible sections offer an incredible journey through Earth's largest rainforest. This is an adventure for the truly intrepid traveler.
